Barry WinboltBarry is a psychologist, brief therapist, and writer. Originally trained in Integrative family therapy and Ericksonian hypnotherapy, he first became interested in Sophrology while living and working in France early in his career. His strapline, “Life doesn’t have to be like that”, reflects the deeply held belief that we are generally far more resourceful than we realise, and with the right information, we can do much ourselves to tackle and cope with life’s inevitable trials and challenges. Alongside his therapy practice he has made it his mission, through his writing and professional training workshops, to present practical information as widely as possible to help others ‘get a better handle on life’.
